Video calling is fantastic when you want see someone's reaction to something - like your exam results, or the new pink and yellow colour scheme in your bedroom. Use it when you want to tell someone something and show them too, like your black eye from football training or the picture-perfect mountain you're about to ski down.
What you need
You and the person you're calling need to have video calling phones. Check your phone manual or follow the steps below to see if your phone supports video calling.

How to make a video call
All you have to do is:
- Select the contact you want to call
- Press the video calling button or choose "options" or "more" and then select "video call"
- Press the "End" call button to finish
It won't cost you an arm and leg
You may think sending live video over the airwaves would be quite pricey but video calling someone in the UK is actually only 15p per minute to other T-Mobile customers.
The costs are:
- Video call to T-Mobile UK customers - 15p/min
- Video call to other UK networks and international - 50p/min
- Video calling bundle* (valid for 30 days) £2.50 for 10 mins*
You can also make video calls from abroad with a growing number of networks that support 3G - check which networks support 3G in the country you're visiting.
