Our legal team's overriding aim is to help people and provide solutions. We take a commercial approach, giving our T-Mobile colleagues an objective view of risks to help them make decisions.
Everything we do is carried out with the aim of giving customer-friendly advice. Talking with everyone from customer service agents through to specialists, we translate things into practical terms, giving people what they need to be able to get on with their jobs.
Because we're mostly in-house, people involved in the legal side of things really know and understand the T-Mobile business and its longer term vision. We've got a high profile both within the company and externally - we won the 2006 Lawyer Awards for In-House TMT Team of the Year for the work that we do.
Based in Hatfield, the T-Mobile team is split into five main areas: marketing and customer services, commercial operations, network operations and property, law enforcement and regulation and competition.
Although our team is busy and big - a bit like a mini-law firm - working for T-Mobile isn't like working in the City. You'll find it's a more relaxed environment - and although you'll need to work really hard at times, we encourage a work-life balance too.
