Operations

To support and maintain our technology across the business - working alongside both the Networks and IS teams - Operations takes care of building, updating and repairing our equipment. They are the lynchpin in maintaining our network

Our Support Engineers, Support Analysts and Field Technicians play an active role in repairing our technology when faults arise, and maintaining equipment to perform perfectly.

Our Operations Teams work up and down the country, always on stand-by in case of emergency. Willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done, these teams:

  • support the mobile network, putting into action any requests and requirements from Networks and IS
  • respond quickly to emergency maintenance and repair alerts
  • ensure all our equipment and network service is maintained on an ongoing basis

Operations Teams' performance directly affects the level of service we provide to our customers, so we look for experts in their field - people who understand the impact their work can have and take pride in everything that they do.

The technologies that are required/used in Networks and Ops include:

  • RF (Radio Frequency)
  • CISCO Skills
  • GSM (also known as 2G)
  • GPRS (also known as two and a half G)
  • UMTS (also known as 3G)

Who are we looking for?

We want experienced professionals - individuals with great problem-solving skills whose attitude won't allow them to walk away from a job until it is completed. People who care about the work they do.

This area of T-Mobile affects the levels of service we provide to our customers, so we also look for people with:

  • a friendly, empathetic personality with a pragmatic approach to their work
  • outstanding communication skills
  • a flexible, friendly approach to work
  • a clear understanding of the importance of great service, and the positive effect it can bring to the end-user
