A typical day would involve organising what I need to do that day. There may well be meetings with vendors. There may be meetings with other departments. And then actually doing as much as I possibly can within the time I have.
What's the best thing about your job?
The best thing about my job is that if I have a really good idea I am supported in actually carrying that out.
What skills do you use the most?
The skills I use the most are two sets really. The technical skills required for understanding the network architecture and the parameters. And also, very importantly, the people skills to work with vendors and to work with other departments in order to make the best decisions for our customers.
What's the atmosphere like at T-Mobile?
Working at T-Mobile is very friendly. It's approachable and people are very open. Even though people work in different organisational structures, we're all very able to share information and make the best decisions for the business.
Where do you see yourself in three years' time?
In three years' time I still hope to be working at T-Mobile but with many more accomplishments under my belt.
What is the social life like at T-Mobile?
Our group is quite sociable. In the evenings we go out for curries… beers….and also from time to time we have team building days as well.
