Pack Your Phone?
You might not think you need to take your phone with you, but there are plenty of reasons why it's a good idea to take your phone abroad with.
- Always There
- You take your phone with you where ever you go when you're at home, don't you? Why is that? You might not intend to make a call, but you know that you might need to use it. Why should it be different if you go abroad?
- Picture Messaging
- You go abroad to see amazing things. There's always an opportunity to take a picture with your phone and send it home. Show your friends what a great time you're having, or make them jealous of that golden sand and blue water!
- Alternatives?
- There are always alternative to taking your phone abroad, but they'll never be as convenient and will often cost more. Hotels can sometimes charge a fortune to use their phones. Pay-phones aren't always easy to locate, need other methods of payment and are usually very expensive to call home.
- Receiving Calls or Texts
- Maybe you won't make any calls while abroad, but what if someone needs to get hold of you? Find out when your cousin has had their baby, or whether Mum wants the blue or yellow sarong.
- Emergencies
- Emergencies are never welcome, but they'll be worse if you can't easily contact someone. Your phone will be the easiest way to contact the local authorities or phone home to get a copy of those important documents.
