Text messaging is lots of people's favourite way to get the word out. That's why we've made it reasonably priced on all of our pay monthly price plans - check the costs for each plan.
If you're a pay as you go customer on Text Appeal, you can fire off messages for just 3p each. And it's free to receive texts - even when you're abroad.
Tip: If your text is more than 160 characters long it'll be sent as two or more messages - so it pays to keep it short and sweet!
Text for less on pay monthly
If you've checked your bill and noticed you're sending lots of text, you may save by buying one of these text bundles.

- Log in or sign up to My T-Mobile and select Add a bundle > Add more allowances and services > Enhanced comm. services, then choose the bundle you want to add
Text for less on pay as you go
If you're on a current pay as you go plan and you text more than you talk, the best thing to do is change your plan to Text Appeal and get 3p texts.
But if you like to talk and send lots of text too, it may be worth staying on your current plan and buying one of these text bundles.

Texting to and from abroad
You can send text messages from the UK to another country for just 20p - check which overseas networks you can text to.
And you can send text to the UK from abroad for just 40p. If you plan on sending lots of texts, you should look into whether you may save if you buy a roaming text bundle.
It's free to receive text messages unless it's a premium text service.
