How will you top-up?

Using E top-up

1. Pick up your E top-up card

Your E top-up card came with your pay as you go SIM. However, you can also pop into your nearest T-Mobile store and pick up a new one.

Tip: If you've lost this card, or if you want to link extra E top-up cards to your account (a popular option for parents who want to top up their children's credit), you can easily pick a replacement up for free at any shop displaying the green 'top-up' sign.

2. Link your E top-up card to your phone

Linking your card to your phone is a breeze. Simply dial 150 from your mobile and follow the instructions on the card.

3. You're ready to
top up

When you want to top up, all you need to do is:

  • Visit any shop displaying the green 'top-up' sign
  • Tell them how much you want to top up (between £5 and £50 in £5 increments)
  • Hand over your E top-up card for swiping
  • Pay (and don't forget to get your E top-up card back!)

Tip: If you have more than one E top-up card, write the phone number each is linked to on the back so you don't get them mixed up.

The legal stuff you need to know

Talk and Text 20

  • Pay as you go customer? You can get a Talk & Text 20 Booster for £20 by texting TT20 to 441. You'll need to have enough top-up credit on your account as the cost of the Booster comes out of your credit.
  • We'll send you a text to let you know when your Booster is ready to use. You then have 30 days to use your Booster, or lose it. We'll let you know when your 30 days is up and when your minutes run out, if this happens first. We'll also remind you 5 days before your Booster is due to expire.
  • Your Booster gives you 300 minutes of calls and unlimited texts from the UK to the customers of the other UK mobile networks and to numbers starting with 01, 02 or 03 (excluding Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man). Calls to your voicemail also come out of your 300 minutes.
  • We'd like to remind you that your terms and conditions say that you mustn't use our services to do anything unlawful or to send nuisance communications. At the moment, we�ll decide that you're breaking this condition if you send text messages to more than 200 different phone numbers over the course of the 30 days. Remember, we're free to decide that other types of use may also be breaking this condition. If you do break this condition, we'll disconnect your SIM card from our network without giving you any advance warning.
  • You can only have one Talk & Text Booster on your account at any one time. Remember, when you swap your credit for a Talk & Text 20 Booster you'll need to opt-out of any top-up reward offer you're in and you'll lose any top-up reward you have. You also can't earn any top-up rewards while you have a Talk & Text 20 Booster active.

600 Texts and Unlimited Monthly Text

  • If you are a pay as you go customer, you can opt in to our Monthly Text rewards by texting MONTHLY TEXT to 441. We'll send you a text to let you know it's worked.
  • Successfully top-up £15 in a calendar month and we'll give you 600 free texts to use during the next month. Or successfully top-up £20 in a calendar month and we'll give you unlimited free texts to use during the next month. We'll send you a text to let you know you've earned the reward and when your free texts are ready to use.
  • Providing you have stayed a member of Month Text throughout the month, we'll add your free texts to your account at one minute in the morning on the first day of the next month. You then have that whole month to use your free texts in the UK to text customers of any UK mobile network. We'll let you know either once you have used up your 600 texts, or when the month is about to finish, whichever is appropriate.
  • We'd like to remind you that your terms and conditions say that you mustn't use our services to do anything unlawful or to send nuisance communications. At the moment, we�ll decide that you're breaking this condition if you text more than 200 different numbers over the course of the month with your reward. Remember, we're free to decide that other types of use may also be breaking this condition.   • We reserve the right to close Monthly Texts at any time. We will give you reasonable notice if we decide to do this.
  • We're afraid that you can only be part of one of our top-up reward offers at any time. If you try to opt in to more than one offer, you'll be a member of the last offer that you successfully opted in to. And remember, if you've swapped your credit for one of our 30 day talk, text or talk and text Boosters you can't be part of any top-up reward.
  • You can opt out of monthly text reward at anytime by texting STOP MONTHLY TEXT to 441.
