1. I'm a pay as you go customer, what does this mean for me?
We've been passing the savings to you over the past 12 months. You may have noticed that we've been crediting your account at the start of the month, based on how much you topped up the previous month. As the VAT will be returning to 17.5% from 1 January 2010 you'll no longer receive these credits at the end of the month as there are no more savings to be shared.
2. How will it work?
As above, the final credit to your balance will be in early January 2010, which will be based on top-ups you made in December 2009. After that, there will be no further VAT credits added to your account.
3. Will the price of T-Mobile pay as you go services change?
No. The price of our services stays the same as it has done over the past year. However, you will not continue to receive any additional credit. There is no change to the price of calls, texts, voicemail, Boosters, data, etc.
4. What if I've still got VAT credit left on my account when the rate goes back to 17.5%?
The VAT credit will stay on your account until you use it as it doesn't have an expiry date.
