The legal stuff you need to know about using Orange signal

To use 2G and 3G Orange signal you need to be a T-Mobile pay as you go, SIM only, pay monthly, mobile broadband, or business customer.

For calls and texts, your phone will seamlessly switch to the Orange 2G network if you completely lose T-Mobile 2G signal. It will do this whilst you are using your phone and whilst it's not in use. Remember Orange 2G signal needs to be available where you are before your phone will switch over. This means you can continue talking on the phone while your phone switches between networks, but your call might still drop if there is no coverage on either network.

For internet on your phone and mobile broadband, you will switch over to the Orange 3G network if you completely lose T-Mobile 2G and 3G signal. Remember Orange 3G signal needs to be available before your phone will switch over.

Remember that all your usual charges and any applicable fair use policy will apply when you are using the Orange network. That means that a call to an Orange customer will still be treated as a call to the customer of another mobile network.

You'll also need a 3G compatible phone or mobile broadband dongle/stick/tablet to use 3G. Whilst most phones can use the Orange signal, some phones may experience some quirks, which means that your experience of using Orange signal may not be ideal. We'll do our best to support you through any issues you have, but we can't promise that we'll be able to fix them right now.

We think you'll enjoy using our new and improved Orange signal!
