Choose a planHow to find your SIM
Most SIM cards live behind your phone's back cover, often underneath the battery. However some have a special slot or compartment on the outside of the phone.
If you can’t find your SIM, or your phone doesn't have one, please check the instructions or the maker's website.
There are two types of SIM available:
Standard SIM
This is the SIM you’ll need for most smartphones and nearly all other phones, as well as most 3G-capable laptops and tablets.
MicroSIM
This is the SIM you’ll need if you have an iPhone 4 or 4S, an iPad, a Nokia Lumia or a recent Motorola Razr*.
*other microSIM phones may also be available.
