Mates Rates

  • Our Mates Rates pay as you go plan gives you calls to other T-Mobile customers for 8p a minute and texts to them for 5p each.
  • Calls to the customers of other mobile networks and to numbers starting with 01, 02 and 03 (excluding Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man) are 25p a minute and texts to them are 10p each.
  • Checking voicemail also costs 10p a minute.
  • A one minute minimum call charge applies.

Internet on your phone £1 a day plan

Internet day pass costs up to £1.

How we calculate charges

We'll automatically charge 0.73p per KB each day (midnight to midnight) when you use internet on your phone until you hit £1 a day and then we won't charge you any more.

Who can get it

  • Pay as you go or pay monthly customers who don't have internet included in their plan or added a Booster
  • You'll need a compatible phone and internet coverage - check your coverage

Internet on your phone restrictions

Remember that you can only use internet on your phone in the UK.

You can't:

  • Use your phone as a modem
  • Use it for peer to peer file sharing
  • Use it for instant messaging (except if you have a Sidekick)
  • Make internet phone calls

Fair use policy

  • This plan comes with a fair use policy of 40MB a day.
  • We'll monitor how much you send and receive each calendar month so that we can protect our network for all our customers.
  • If you use more than your fair use policy amount, we won't charge you any more, but we may restrict how you can use internet on your phone, depending on how often you go over your amount and by how much.

Call me back

Call Me Back is only available to new and existing U-Fix and pay as you go customers. You can use Call Me Back up to 5 times a calendar month when you are in the UK to send a free SMS to a customer of a UK mobile network or to a local or national number starting with 01, 02 or 03. This doesn't cover Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.

Talk and Text 20

  • Pay as you go customer? You can get a Talk & Text 20 Booster for £20 by texting TT20 to 441. You'll need to have enough top-up credit on your account as the cost of the Booster comes out of your credit.
  • We'll send you a text to let you know when your Booster is ready to use. You then have 30 days to use your Booster, or lose it. We'll let you know when your 30 days is up and when your minutes run out, if this happens first. We'll also remind you 5 days before your Booster is due to expire.
  • Your Booster gives you 300 minutes of calls and unlimited texts from the UK to the customers of the other UK mobile networks and to numbers starting with 01, 02 or 03 (excluding Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man). Calls to your voicemail also come out of your 300 minutes.
  • We'd like to remind you that your terms and conditions say that you mustn't use our services to do anything unlawful or to send nuisance communications. At the moment, we'll decide that you're breaking this condition if you send text messages to more than 200 different phone numbers over the course of the 30 days. Remember, we're free to decide that other types of use may also be breaking this condition. If you do break this condition, we'll disconnect your SIM card from our network without giving you any advance warning.
  • You can only have one Talk & Text Booster on your account at any one time. Remember, when you swap your credit for a Talk & Text 20 Booster you'll need to opt-out of any top-up reward offer you're in and you'll lose any top-up reward you have. You also can't earn any top-up rewards while you have a Talk & Text 20 Booster active.

Playstation 3 pay as you go SIM prize draw

  • To enter the prize draw, you'll need to have got a free pay as you go Sim card (which excludes SIM cards included with phones) from our website (t-mobile.co.uk) or our stores, but not yet topped it up. Then, just top up your free SIM card for the 1st time between 24th July and 31st January 2010. Remember that there's a minimum top up of £5 and that you also need to be over 16 years old to enter.
  • On the day that you top up for the first time, we'll enter you into a prize draw with all the other free pay as you go SIM customers who also topped up for the first time on that day. We count a day as midnight to midnight. One winner will be drawn at random the next day and the winner will get a call on their T-Mobile phone number (that's the phone number of the free pay as you go Sim card). If the winner doesn't answer that call they'll lose their prize and a new winner will be drawn instead. Finally, every week the Friday, Saturday and Sunday draws will each take place on a Monday.
  • The prize is a Sony Playstation 3 games console. Winners will be asked to give us their name and UK address so that we can send them the prize. Winners will also have to provide proof that they are over 16 years old too. The prize is not transferable and there's no cash alternative.
  • By entering this competition you've accepted these terms and conditions, which we can amend at any time.

Monthly Text & Internet Reward

Connect a new SIM card that you've got (either with or without a phone) from one of our stores, telesales team or website to T-Mobile pay as you go from 1 November 2009 to 31 January 2010 and you'll automatically be opted into our Monthly Text and Internet Reward.

Customers who have joined us in September and October 2009 and who get our £10 unlimited monthly text reward will also automatically be opted into our Monthly Text and Internet Reward from 1 November 2009.

Successfully top-up £10 in a calendar month and we'll give you unlimited free texts and internet on your phone to use during the next month. We'll send you a text to let you know you've earned the reward. Customers with a Blackberry on pay as you go won't be able to use the internet part of the reward but will still be able to use their unlimited texts.

Providing you have stayed a member of the reward throughout the month we'll add your free texts and internet to your account at one minute in the morning on the first day of the next month. You then have that whole month to use them in the UK. Use your free texts to text customers of any UK mobile network. For internet on your phone you'll need a compatible phone and internet coverage, check it at t-mobile.co.uk/streetcheck. Remember that you can't use your phone as a modem or use the internet for peer to peer file sharing, instant messaging (except if you have a Sidekick) or making internet phone calls.

This reward comes with an internet fair use policy of 40MB a day. We'll monitor how much you send and receive each calendar month so that we can protect our network for all our customers. We're afraid that you can only be part of one of our top-up reward offers at any time, so you won't get Little Extras when you join with this offer. If you try to opt in to another top-up reward or buy one of our 30 day Boosters, then you'll have to opt-out of this reward first. If you opt in to another reward prior to making your first top up, you won't get this reward. And if you move price plans to our Text Appeal plan you'll lose this reward. You can opt out of this reward at any time by texting STOP TEXTWEB to 441. Once you've opted out of this reward then you won't be able to opt back in again.

E Top up conditions

1. Use of card

a) Use of the T-Mobile Electronic top-up service is subject to these terms and conditions and the discretion of T-Mobile. Use of this card constitutes acceptance of these conditions. We can change these terms and conditions from time to time. Full details are available on our website at t-mobile.co.uk
b) T-Mobile reserves the right to withdraw the T-Mobile Electronic top-up card and the T-Mobile Electronic top-up service at any time and without notice.
c) The T-Mobile Electronic top-up card remains the property of T-Mobile, but it is your responsibility to keep it safe.
d) The code numbers and other information stored on the card is the proprietary information of T-Mobile. You must not pass on or divulge such information to any authorised third party not licensed by T-Mobile to receive such information or to utilise such information to operate a top-up card system.
e) This T-Mobile Electronic top-up card can only be used with the T-Mobile pay as you go or U-Fix service, and it's use and the use of the T-Mobile pay as you go or U-Fix service is subject to the current version of your telephony terms and conditions.
f) Replacement Electronic top-up cards can be obtained by dialling 150 direct from your mobile phone and are subject to availability. You may be charged for this call see our 'what it costs' brochures for details. T-Mobile reserves the right to make a charge for replacement cards. Electronic top-up cards have no monetary value.

2. Use of the Service

a) This service can only be used in conjunction with a valid T-Mobile Electronic top-up card at participating outlets to purchase pre-paid airtime.
b) T-Mobile reserves the right to refuse the authorisation of any transaction relating to a request to pay money into a specific account by use of an Electronic top-up card.
c) Customers can use this service to purchase airtime in denominations currently being offered by T-Mobile.
d) To use the T-Mobile pay as you go service, you must make a connection action at least once every 180 days. If you do not, your SIM card will be disconnected and you will not be able to use the service at all. You will lose your mobile phone number. Any credit on your account at the time of disconnection will be forfeited. A full list of connection actions is set out in the T-Mobile pay as you go 'What it costs' booklet of charges.
e) Refunds will not be given unless there is an error made by T-Mobile or on behalf of T-Mobile. No refunds will be given once airtime is used.
f) Information about our Electronic top-up service is set out in this leaflet. That information was correct when this leaflet was printed, but please bear in mind that features of the service might have changed since then. Please check out t-mobile.co.uk for all the latest information.

3. General

You may not transfer or try to transfer any of your rights and responsibilities under this agreement. We may transfer any of ours without your permission, provided the level of service you currently experience is not reduced as a result. English law will apply to this agreement and any disputes are to be settled in the courts of England.
